We are currently seeking candidates for a Lower School Maker and Integration Specialist to begin with the 2024-25 school year. The Maker and Integration Specialist plays a pivotal leadership role within the Lower School faculty, championing the seamless integration of maker activities and technology into our academic fabric. This position is not only about fostering innovation but also about leading, engaging others in this integrated approach, and ensuring that the school stays at the forefront of educational advancements. The Maker and Integration Specialist will serve on both the Lower School co-curricular team and the JrK -12th grade Visual Arts Department. As a part of the school's co-curricular team, the Maker and Integration Specialist is accountable for coordinating all maker and integration planning within the Lower School. Reporting directly to the Head of Lower School, this role bridges multiple departments and fosters a culture of collaboration and integration. A Bachelors degree in elementary education or instructional technology is required, Masters preferred with two years of teaching in an elementary setting.
