Job Description:

Teacher Sponsorship Program
Sydney Catholic Schools is the system of over 145 Catholic primary and secondary
schools operating across the Archdiocese of Sydney. 

Teacher Sponsorship is currently prioritising the following high-demand teaching areas:
• Technological and Applied Studies (TAS)
• Mathematics
• Diverse Learning (primary and secondary)
• Science: Biology, Physics, Chemistry
• Special Education Teacher

Incentives 
Financial and other incetive packages may be available to candiates looking to relocate from overseas to Australia.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements – You will require a minimum of 4 years of higher education study (inclusive of 1-year specific teacher education subjects) plus 45 days of supervised practice to obtain Provisional Registration to teach in Australia.

Temporary Skill Shortage 482 Visa Requirements – To be eligible for sponsorship under a 482 Temporary Employer Sponsored Visa you will need a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.have a skills assessment for your occupation, have at least competent English, meet the health and character requirements. 

Skilled Independent 189 Visa (Permanent) Requirements - To be eligible, you must satisfy the points test, have a skills assessment for your occupation, have at least competent English, meet the health and character requirements and be aged under 45 when invited to apply.
